Hey Performance Art and Ageplay fans,


First of all, special thanks goes out to DannyDarko Raymaker from Rome, Italy for making the above video possible :-) Danny does such a reliably prolific job with documenting our recent performances there must be...I don't know...something in the air or something like that ;-)

Well, I am quite exhausted after completing this wonderful public age-play collaboration with my beloved (yet adopted) daughter, Fwwixli for Spinster Voom's PAGES (PgUp) exhibition that was projected at the Notice Gallery in London.

For our performance, we had Virtual Haidplatz's in-house architect, Dethomas Dibou design an aesthetically neutral roof-top for us.
We had official permission from the building owner Paco Mariani to leave whatever residue that resulted from my ageplay performance with Fwwixli. Admittedly, we left quite a mess behind as our ageplaying was very frantic and stressfull (far less relaxing than usual). Spinster gave us a fairly strict 45 minute time limit and that was almost not enough time to leave any meaningful residue behind.

My guess is that if it was not for the handy yet automated expertise of the ever-wise Oblique Strategies created by Brian Eno, we would never have had the sufficient inspiration and momentum needed to settle our usual family affairs.

Oh, I guess I should explain to you the concept behind this performance. The whole idea is quite simple really. For the time allotted to us by the curator, I would tell Fwwixli what "Daddy" would like to see built...really..it is that simple!

All we are doing is making aspects of our private playtime public except the only difference is that unlike our private playtimes together, we leave the residue behind as aesthetically "forensic" evidence for archiving (and maybe even collecting).

I am sure the our curator Spinster will be more articulate as to what we did together on her blog.

Ok..here are some more photos...

Quite a few of our friends managed to attend our first public performance together. As you can see from their nametags, this was indeed an extended family affair! Aunti Chi5 was there alongside Fwwixli's best friend and mentorette, Zodial Semple. Auntie Chi5 was very kind to help us re-script our custom giant lollipop into a long-staff weapon. Sugar Seville from Odyssey Island also made an appearance. There were even members from the 2 groups I belong to and hold most dear to my heart... Gazira Babeli and Man Michinaga were there from Second Front and Miulew Takahe from the Avatar Orchestra Metaverse popped by before setting up the stage downstairs at Virtual Haidplatz for the in-world premiere of my brand new composition, "SLippery SLope". Speaking of upstairs/downstairs, Douglas Story managed to stay awake long enough to visit this side of Haidplatz for our performance....geez, even our curator Spinster Voom was in attendence.


Due to the lag, things got off to a shaky start but thanks to Eno's Oblique Strategies, we realized that "quality" did not really matter as long as we met the curator's deadline so we managed to knock off some master-templates for some lollipops and M&M candies...yum! Time was of the essence and I was simply concerned with filling up the roof-top's space with as much optically appealing objects as possible. I knew my daughter would pull through for me! Yaaaaay! The critics are right of course, all art produced in Second Life is indeed eye-candy...this is the proof in the...er... pudding!

Here is an aerial view taken towards the end of our collaborative performance. This is probably the sweetest ageplay-related residue seen in Second Life so far, wouldn't you agree?

This pic was taken at the conclusion of our performance. Spinster Voom (the curator) is thanking us for making one of our routine collaborations public for all to see...usually we do this kinda stuff (and stuff that is not as tame) exclusively for private, and not public consumption.

nOObjectivity - Ageplay Relations - A Family Affair...

In this pic, I am building my first nOObject...It was during this time that I decided that my next one will be dedicated to my daughter, Fwwixli. In the blue majorette suit is the curator, Spinster Voom. The cone on the floor with the humanoid face is actually my RL self. I forgot to sweep that test-nOObject off the floor when I came in earlier in the day to test out the building controls...ooops!

Hey performance art, social sculpture and ageplay fans!

If you are reading this post, you might want to read the context behind the whole exhibition available on my personal blog.

Basically, I made a nOObject and dedicated it to my daughter, Fwwixli.
You will see two nOObjects in this posting but the latter one is the one dedicated to my daughter. That nOObject was SLated to be criticized and modified by Dr. Lisa Dapto. Anyways, Fwwixli took all these snapshots herself so have a look..check 'em out...

In this pic, you can see me forming my design ideas in realtime. I had my trademark purple American Flag motif in mind but could not figure out what it looked like....heheheheh.... The guy in the suit and sporting the goatee is our personal bodyguard, Bear Brooks. I ensured that he kept a close eye on Miss Fwwix.

Hmmm..this cone pattern was rather psychedlic but...I dunno...Too Orientalist? I think I wanted to insert my own personal style into the aesthetic parameters of this sculpture.

Geez, I guess sometimes things need to look worse before they can get better...what a serious nOOb I am when it comes to building, eh? Of course, Fwwixli had to show the world practically all embarrassing the evidence you needed to see...sigh!

Ok this pic is important because the gray cone on top is the critically approved version of my American Flag cone. Dr. Pastichan Yifu purified this nOObject from any overt reference to American flags - purple or otherwise...phew! I almost got too self-absorbed there... The masterpiece below that though is the nOObject dedicated to my daughter...you can even see a headshot of here on the orb...yaaaay! I hope Dr. Dapto can revisit this nOObject sometime next week to modify it to her critical specifications...The title of this nOObject is "A Family Affair - Ageplay Relations".

Here is the final pre-criticized version of my nOObject for all to see...Notice how Dr. Dapto is looking the other way...I hope she was not just being aloof or something...sigh! Actually, I later found out that she was looking at this rainbow vapour thingie and thinking that I made it....Of course THAT was critically perfect.
I am curious now to know what she will actually think of the nOObject behind her...

Planning our 1st exhibition together with Spinster Voom!

Yaaaay! We finally have our first exhibition confirmed! We will be preparing a special performance installation for Spinster Zoom on behalf of the Pages Exhibition. Our performance installation will be projected into the Notice Gallery in London (Deptford, East London) :-) This exhibition should take place sometime in June.

Spinster wanted to interview us first as research for her curatorial development and presentation of our collaborative art-performance-installation-sculpture-whatever ;-)

I hope we did not give her the wrong impression! I think she understands the bigger picture of Ageplay within the ever tolerant context of British Contemporary Art ...phew!

So, I apologize for the delay with blogging this post but I literally just finished an in-world conference panel for Ars Virtua.

I gotta hurry with wrapping up this blog posting because I want to blog that panel on my main personal blog ASAP...There is not really much more to say about last night's occasion except that both Fwwixli and yours truly are looking forward to this upcoming exhibition! So, here quickly are the rest of my text-captioned snapshots from our meeting with Spinster...

Based on what the chat-history says here, I guess Fwwixli was deeply inspired by Dancoyote Antonelli's postering job at the OSMOSA opening.

For this pic, we feature 2 special guests. One is my automated drug-dealer named "iixlii". He is the official fundraiser for Fwwix Aid and one of my revenue sources to ensure that Fwwixli keeps on getting her own bodyguard security detail. Speaking of bodyguards, one of our guards almost tore apart Gumnosophistai Nurmi at Gaz's opening a little awhile ago. I guess he stumbles around alot because he drunkenly invaded my personal space at that opening and caused an altercation with me and my guard. Anyways, Gumno has since become a colleage and co-performer in the Avatar Orchestra Metaverse. He actually was just wondering around Odyssey and stumbled upon us at my PR office..he had no idea I had my own PR Office. Well, I made formal apologies for the body-guard fiasco and formal introductions to Fwwixli and Spinster.... Everything is now ready to go for the exhibition in June...Yaaaay!

OSMOSA - Quality time with Fwwixli...

Here we are on the 2nd floor in front of Dancoyote Antonelli's large open-source poster. Wow, that is a really good self-promo idea! I also saw his poster plastered on the museum's main wall outside.

Hey performance art, open source and adoption fans!

I had a great time hanging out with Fwwixli at the OSMOSA (Open Source Museum of Open Source Art) opening. I waited with my personal bodyguard in the main lobby while waiting for her to show up. She arrived by the time I wandered up to the first floor of the museum. I thought I would need extra bodyguard backup but it turned out that Fwwixli was very well behaved...phew!

This is a pic of Koco Furse's "Avatar in a Cage" performance...I thought it was pretty kewl! It was definitely an endurance piece in the 1970s performance art tradition! In the chat history, you will notice that my Second Front co-member Man Michinaga is referring to someone named "Yael". He is referring to the media artist Yael Kanarek. I think he gave her a tour of SL earlier in the day. It also looks like Second Front has a new official fan... Ofelia Laval might actually visit Man Michinaga in RL to join him in attending the Second Life Community Convention in Chicago...wow!


Awwwe...it is always soooo cute when Fwwix decides to sit on my shoulders! It is funny how much glue is on her customly scripted shoulder pads (which she places on other avatars so she can sit on them)...I mean, I can walk up the stairs and run around she still sticks to me..in fact, even when she falls off, she gradually glides back right into place like some sort of smart-bomb! Wow! Oh, take note of her roll of toilet paper...You would probably rather not know what is for ;-) Also, there is anew avatar whom I just met named Veeyawn Spoonhammer. He brought us up to the roof because he built a giant version of himself on this very same roof!

...and here it is, Veeyawn's giant robot! I zoomed out with my camera but still could not fit the entire robot's torso into my field-of-view...wow! I wonder if was using his Linux operating system while building this leviathan automaton!

So, I knew that my bodyguard's shift was coming to a close so I thought it would be safest if I fled just before 7 PM had rolled around. Just before I split the scene to leave my daughter in the care of Man Michinaga, my friend Lior Humphreys showed up after a 20 minute hiatus. During that hiatus period, I think he made a brand new friend...he introduced me to him - his name is Aaires Aabye...I loved his Brazillian shirt! You will also notice that Ofelia is asking us about Second Front. Anyways, I had to rush off to keep safe and to begin this blog which you are currently reading and now I am done blogging this post finally...yaaaaaay!

Fwwixli's reunion at Gazira Babeli's one-year retrospective!

Awwwwe..how cute! Here we are at Gazira Babeli's one-year retrospective exhibition on Odyssey Island... Fwwixli is sitting on the shoulders of one my personal bodyguards (Nick Kelly - yes, Nick is a "she") while Foster-Mama Tea Chenille keeps a compassionate eye for Fwwix's safety and all the while having some extra armed security support by Bear Brooks! This is indeed a family pic of sorts - even Second Front co-member Lizsolo Mathilde made a cameo appearance! We are like one big happy family, really!

Finally, my daughter Fwwixli felt comfortable enough with our recent reunion to join me and my bodyguards to a VIP gala event and an official opening for Gazira Babeli's one-year retrospective exhibition called "Collateral Damage" in the main gallery on Odyssey Island. This event was curated by Sugar Seville and Beavis Palowakski who is also the architect of Odyssey's main gallery.

Anyways, we all attended Gaz's VIP media gala and the official opening and both events were sure a blast (usually a blast of aesthetically pleasing superprims)!

Alot of my friends were there and also a few strangers so it was a good thing I trusted my intuition and hired Stilleto Inc. I highly recommend this service to any other SLebrity who was recently become an Ava-Star due to the creative renaissance of this golden year, 2007.

This is the first time I have ever had to hire bodyguards but this certainly will not be the last time.... If you are a SLebrity like me, having personal protection is well worth the investment!

At one point, I thought someone was either shooting at me or Fwwixli! Fortunately, it turned out to be the sound of Fwwixli's sk8board...phew! I think from now on that I will be having bodyguards with me to protect me and my daughter at every high-profile event from now on... I just cannot risk losing my precious Fwwix again!

Well, here are more pix of the event...

In this pic, we see Fwwix taking full advantage of my hired bodyguards' service while Ian Ah looks around...One can hear Second Front co-member Tran Spire making his way towards us... I got the sense that he wanted to show Fwwixli how adults party...sigh!

This pic gives you a better sense of the attendence at Gaz's official opening night. I was actually there with Fwwixli and my guards earlier in the day for the press and media (for the 1st shift, Sturdus Goldblatt stood in for their company's boss Nick Kelly as one of my bodyguards). It looks like the press were still at the 6 PM PDT opening (the opening for V.I.Ps, Italians and Media started at 1 PM PDT) because I seem to be showing off the return of my daughter to everyone in the media-world including Aidan Aquacade from SPark Magazine. Some people were already getting to know Fwwixli quite well throughout the day. For example, my good friend from Frankfurt named Lior Humphreys said he had some nice chats with her. A few people were telling me that the colourful display in the middle of the gallery on opening night was actually a prim-war between Gaz and Dancoyote Antonelli...This is what I love about making art in SL - no one wins nor loses but is able to make alot of pretty fireworks together!


Here is another touching moment that I managed to snap at just the right time...we can see a parental exchange between Tea and Fwwixli....awwweee... :-)I am so glad lil' Fwwix has decided to come back to the fold so she can meet her extended/adopted family :-)

Fwwixli was really making the rounds that night. Like parent, like daughter - she was able to network seemlessly with my colleagues. Here she is chatting up another Second Front co-member, Man Michinaga. It was also comforting to see that my life-partner, Tea was also appreciating the service that my bodyguards were providing. I think it is essential that a true professional bodyguard service learns to have a close working relationship with their client...they must know who they are protecting after all... Perhaps one day, they will be able to see through our SLebrity veil. But for now, it is strictly business but they were very very professional and intuitive when it came to determining who my true friends were :-)

Here is Tran literally begging for Fwwixli's attention...It is a good thing I know Tran very well and trust him deeply...normally, I would not trust some glam dude with long turquoise hair and an Op-Art zoot suit to come anywhere near my daughter, especially when assuming the prostrating position...I trusted Tran enough to babysit my daughter once my time at the gallery was up and I left the scene with my personal bodyguards. I reminded him that Fwwixli is not yet an adult and should be treated as such...She is only allowed drugs for mind altering purposes and should not try anything addictive..I hope he was joking about firing up some glass pipes...sigh!

FWWIXLI RETURNS!

Hey there performance art and adoption fans!

Great news! My foster daughter has returned to me after about 10 days of running away from me. She really put me through the emotional wringer this time. I even had to hire a couple of Private Investigators from Stiletto Inc but most of Fwwixli's trail went dry.

When we finally reunited on Fau Ferdinand's Neo Goa island, Fwwixli made up some excuse that she was hallucinating on Festival Island somewhere and kept on turning into a default avatar known as a "Ruth". I am not sure whether or not I believe her version of the "ruth" but for now I am just glad that she is back with me. Now we can work towards our collaborative exhibition together...

I have learned one thing from all this though and that is the next time I take her to a large scale publicity event, I am going to hire bodyguards for sure!

My guess is the next major event where I will need to hire bodyguards to protect Fwwixli will be at Gazira Babeli's retrospective opening on Odyssey Island... Here is a pic of me posing beside the banner for that show...

Hey performance art and adoption fans,

Since being published in The Avastar together, I have not heard at all from my daughter, Fwwixli...I find it strange since I just paid her L$250 (50%) of my earnings from our Avastar publication. Maybe she fears the publicity generated by her newfound fame? I hope not! I am sure this process seems to work just nicely for the new adopted kids of Angelina and Madonna.

Anyways, if you see my daughter anywhere, please send me an IM in-world.

I have not yet spoken with Auntie Chi5 Shenzhou in detail about it but I do not think anyone has seen her for a little while. I would love to see her again soon to retain my custody so that Fwwixli and I can collaborate together for some future art exhibitions :-)

In the meantime, I have decided to launch "Fwwix Aid". I have a drug-dealer bot named iixxli who will offer you an expanding selection of drugs and if you tip him, the proceeds will go directly to my Private Investigation costs...

I am already in negotiations with my preferred agency but I cannot mention their company name as it might compromise their investigation.

All I can say at this time is that I plan to hire them this week. The Art Metropole donation was almost enough for me to hire the agency for one day and act as a money deposit but they require at least two (consecutive?) days....Please find me and iixlii in-world and get high for charity! Please! I do not want Fwwixli to end up in the wrong hands! Poor little Fwwixli! Sniff! I need at least another L$500 donation to hire this agency and I want to hire them fast! Who know what could happen to my poor little Fwwixli!

I finally managed to get Fwwixli mentioned in some SL media press in The Avastar. Since this is an equal collaboration, I will pay Fwwixli L$250 to make sure she gets half of my payment for sending in this email release.

I have not heard from her for awhile though... I hope she has not run away or something...I will have to ask Auntie Chi5 Shenshou to see if she has seen her around anywhere...sigh!

keeping tabs on my daughter...again!

A mutated Fwwixli (thanks to sitting on Gaz's scripted canvas chair) and a sober Wirxli finally hang out together an additional time as a reunited "Daughter" and "Daddy".

I have been feeling guilty lately that I have not been spending more quality time with Fwwixli. She seems quite spunky and independent for her age though as she is already hanging out with Auntie Chi5 Shenzhou and causing mischief and mayhem while losing the sk8board I literally just forked a whopping L$600 for a few days ago..sigh! So, I was glad to see her online when I visited a bunch of my friends at Odyssey Islands main gallery. I teleported her over to join us and thankfuly, she got her sk8board back! Yaaaaay! As liberal as a parent I might appear to be, I am going to be getting used to setting some stern boundries very soon. Already, I managed to wrangle off her chat history after I had crashed several times. Here is the once coveted chat history below interspersed with pix from yesterday's artistic meet and greet. I noticed from this seized chat history that she has been very naughty indeed! As you scroll and read her chat transcript below, please take into account that the "You" referred to in the transcript is Fwwixli and not me as this was recorded from her perspective...this way, I even found out what she managed to say about me behind my back! Here is Wirxli meeting the new adopted foster child Fwwixli Swindlehurst...She was born and raised into the wealthy but negligent Swindlehurst family and left barefoot, toyless and candyless on their paradise island owned by the Israeli artist Fau Ferdinand. Wirxli is overjoyed to have a new foster child and cannot wait to collaborate on some performance art with her...

Auntie Chi5 Shenzhou found us a great place to buy new sk8er supplies for my precious Fwwixli. The sk8board was a pricey L$600 but I figured it was worth the investment...just as long as she stays happy :-) I was pleased to see that I was successful in censoring her naive eyes from the mature content displayed on some of the sk8board designs...I think she made the right choice in purchasing one with a little red toon devil...how charming!

Auntie Chi5 Shenzhou also suggested that I buy Fwwixli a new pair of cutesy pink shoes since she was barefoot when I rescued her from the wealthy and greedy Swindlehurst family who practically orphaned her on that poor paradise island called Neo Goa. Well, another L$100 disappeared out of my wallet and into the Fwwixli's little purse.

I noticed as I was leaving SL for the day that Auntie Chi5 was sneaking ciggies for Fwwixli to smoke...sigh! I knew she might be a bad influence on the poor innocent and impressionable Fwwixli.
